My Proudest Accomplishments (Journalwithme#14)

This week’s question asks:

What accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?

Simple. I am proud that I went through what I went through, and persevered. People were forever pushing me down and I was able to conquer this, and finally find the strength in myself to push back. I went through a very difficult time in my late teens/early twenties, but the hardships I faced and the lessons I learned prepared me for the remainder of my life.

I am more confident now than I was ten years ago, and I am proud of accomplishing confidence. I finished schooling, and worked in a career in my field, and now I am my own boss working from home. I married the love of my life, the man who supported me through those difficult years and together we built a family we can be proud of.

And finally, I’m proud that I am finally doing things for myself. I am currently writing two novels, plus a book on my family’s history while keeping up with blogging and running a home daycare. The multitasking is empowering, and it gives me a drive to do the things I love while still helping to provide for my family. I feel blessed.
